Is your calendar full of events? that’s awesome! But you also want to make sure that users are able to find events that are relevant to them among all entries. Perhaps the user is looking for a free event on weekends that is within walking distance. Or they want to see all the events happening on Monday. This is where the filter bar comes in!
The Events Calendar Pro Filter Addon, which works with both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, adds a configuration set of filters to your event pages. Users can search for events based on event category, post tag, venue, organizer, day of week, time of day and price. If you have found Event Calendar Pro, there is also a distance filter to go with Pro’s location search. Of course, you can choose which filters are available to users on the front end. You can decide whether the filter bar is horizontal under the search bar (great for narrow sites and mobiles) or vertical like sidebar (best for full width calendars).
The Events Calendar Pro Filter Addon Features: –
- Add filters to your calendar
Create a bar at the top of the calendar where users can narrow down events.
- Appended URL
All filters append the calendar URL, so you can share a pre-filtered calendar with others.
- Custom Filters
If you’re using Events Calendar Pro, you can create your own custom calendar filters.
- Flexible layout
Position your filter bar vertically or horizontally on the calendar.
- Responsive design
The filter bar looks great and works on any size screen or device.
- Display controls
Choose to display all your filters, or only certain ones. You pick the order.
- Virtual Events
If you’re using Virtual Events, you can display Virtual Events as a filter.
